Bramblewood opened on the high street in 2003 when Dr. Eleanor Penhaligon — then ten years into a career at a busy Cheltenham practice — decided she'd rather know her patients by name than by case number. We've grown carefully since: another vet in 2009, a third in 2017, two nurses, and a practice manager who's been with us for twelve years.
We've turned down every offer to be bought by the larger chains. Continuity isn't a marketing line for us; it's the reason we exist. When you register a pet at Bramblewood, you're choosing the same vet for routine visits, the same nurse for nail clips, the same receptionist who'll remember your dog's name when you walk in.
We're not the cheapest practice in the area, and we won't be — small means we don't have a corporate price list to fall back on, so we're transparent about costs up front and we'll always tell you when something can wait.
