Three vets, two nurses, and a practice manager who's been with us for twelve years. Small enough that you'll know everyone by name — that's the point.
The same faces, every visit
Founder & Senior Vet
Qualified at Liverpool in 1993. Founded Bramblewood in 2003 after a decade in mixed practice. Special interests in geriatric care and feline medicine. Keeps three rescue cats and an opinionated terrier called Mabel.
Vet
RVC graduate, joined Bramblewood in 2009 from a referral hospital in Bristol. Handles most of our soft-tissue surgery and rabbit/exotic work. Trustee of a local hedgehog rescue.
Vet
Glasgow graduate; postgraduate certificate in small-animal surgery. Joined in 2017. Leads our dental work and runs the senior-pet health-plan programme. Trail runner; usually muddy.
Senior Veterinary Nurse
Qualified RVN since 2011. Runs our nurse clinics and post-op care. Champion of the practice's "no nervous waits" policy — separate cat and dog waiting areas, quiet slots for anxious patients.
Veterinary Nurse
Joined in 2019 after qualifying. Lead nurse for puppy and kitten consultations and our weight-management clinic. Foster carer for the local Cats Protection branch.
Practice Manager
With Bramblewood since 2014. Knows where every record, invoice, and stray paperclip lives. The voice on the other end of the phone when you ring; will remember your pet's name by the second call.
We're currently accepting new dogs, cats, and small mammals. Fill in the short form and we'll be in touch within one working day.
